Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with the Olowu of Kuta, HRM Oba Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude (Tegbosun III), on the occasion of his 62nd birthday, hailing him as a classical example of what true leadership should reflect.
Governor Adeleke, who visited the Palace of the monarch on a campaign tour, recognised Oba Oyelude's steadfast contributions to the promotion of culture and tradition, noting that his simplicity and consensus-driven approach to issues has made him a delightful example of devotion to the people.
"On this auspicious day, I congratulate HRM Oba Hameed Adekunle Makama Oyelude (Tegbosun III). Oba Oyelude is a good example of what purposeful leadership should look like, considering the profound impact of his influence on his subjects and his community, Kuta town — a major defining community of Owu kingdom in the entire world," the governor stated.
"As he turns 62 years today, I join every son and daughter of Kuta to celebrate Kabiyesi, and commend him for the incredible leadership he exudes, as I honour his commitment to fostering peace and stability by promoting harmony in his domain."
"It is my prayer that God Almighty will grant Kabiyesi more celebrations in good health, strength and wisdom so that he can continue to offer impactful leadership and contribute to the promotion of Yoruba culture, traditions and values," the governor concluded.
