Osun Begins Commissioning of Landmark Projects: Lameco Bridge and Ejigbo Roads
The Imole Campaign Council announces a two-day commissioning of landmark projects by Governor Adeleke, headlined by the four-span Lameco overhead bridge in Osogbo and the inauguration of two critical road projects in Ejigbo spanning over 18km.
The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) is pleased to announce the schedule of the commissioning of a series of landmark projects executed by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The two-day event will be headlined with the commissioning of the four-span Lameco overhead bridge on Wednesday, while two other critical road projects in Ejigbo will be formally launched on Thursday.
Governor Ademola Adeleke will perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Lameco four-span overhead bridge, which will also have in attendance the Ataoja of Osogboland, HRM Oba Jimoh Adetunji Olanipekun, Larooye II, and other critical stakeholders in Osogbo and beyond.
The four-span Lameco bridge was built to solve perennial traffic congestion along that axis, improve connectivity and stimulate economic activities in the state's capital, underscoring the Adeleke administration's sustained commitment to addressing age-long challenges and improving the quality of life for residents of Osogbo and environs.
On Thursday, the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode, Oyeyosin II, will perform the commissioning ceremony of the 12km Ejigbo-Ilawo-Iwo road (first phase) and 6km Ejigbo-Isoko-Aye road (first phase) — two critical road projects that will enhance connectivity between Ejigbo and neighbouring towns.
The commissioning will be followed with the flag-off of the remaining portions of the road projects as a demonstration of the resolve by the Adeleke administration to strengthen local economies by improving the road network in the state.
These events will be continuous as several other completed projects by the Governor Adeleke-led government will soon be commissioned for the benefit of the people. The public is urged to take full ownership of the projects and collaborate with the government to ensure long-term sustainability.
